        Remember, all of our travel insurance policies have limits, exclusions and excesses may also apply. Because your age can limit your choice of policy, we’ve detailed the age limit for all of our policy types below.

          Up to 65 years

          All our policies are suitable for those aged up to 65 years on the policy start date.

          Or maybe you’re planning to hit the slopes for a skiing or snowboarding holiday? Think about adding winter sports cover to your travel insurance policy.

          Travel insurance for over 65s

          Over 65? You can choose from two of our policies.

          Our annual multi-trip travel insurance covers travellers aged up to 80 years from the start date of the policy. With this cover, you can travel as many times as you like during the year, including UK holidays.

          Only going away once this year? Our single trip travel insurance, which has no age limit, could work for you.

          Over 80s

          If you’re looking for over 80s travel insurance, we can help. Sainsbury’s single trip travel insurance has no upper age limit.

          It’s perfect for those planning one special trip. You can get cover for just you, you and your partner or your entire family.

          Medical cover for pre-existing conditions

          Our travel insurance policies can be tailored to cover a wide range of pre-existing medical conditions, like heart conditions or epilepsy. Our simple medical screening process is quick to complete and can be carried out online or over the phone.

          It is important to let us know about any pre-existing conditions before you get a quote, and any new conditions before your trip starts. If you don’t, future claims may be rejected, or payment could be reduced.
