Sainsbury’s Travel Insurance

Sainsbury's Financial Services act as an introducer to Hood Travel Ltd, which sells and administers the Sainsbury’s Travel insurance and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Register no 597211). The core elements of Sainsbury’s Travel insurance are underwritten by AWP P&C S.A., while the gadget cover is underwritten by AmTrust Specialty Limited. AWP P&C is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority, subject to regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 534384 and limited regulation by the Prudential Regulation Authority. AmTrust Specialty Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority (Financial Services Register no 202189). Sainsbury's Life Insurance

Sainsbury’s Car Insurance (this product is no longer on sale)

New policies taken out on or after 1 February 2017 and underwritten by one of our panel of insurers and not UK Insurance Limited.

Sainsbury's Bank Car Insurance is arranged and administered by Sainsbury's Bank and is underwritten by a carefully selected range of insurers. Details of who the insurer is can be found on your policy documents.
 

Policies that commenced between 1 June 2011 and 2 March 2017 and are underwritten by UK Insurance Ltd.

Sainsbury's Car insurance is underwritten by UK Insurance Limited, Registered Office: The Wharf, Neville Street, Leeds LS1 4AZ. Registered in England No. 1179980. UK Insurance Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Please note that quotes cannot be provided for existing Sainsbury's car insurance customers whose policy was in force before 31st May 2011.
 

All other policy holders.

Sainsbury's Car Insurance is arranged and administered by esure Services Limited. Registered in England and Wales number 2135610 at The Observatory, Reigate, Surrey RH2 0SG. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, number 312063. Not available in Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands. Age restrictions apply. Subject to normal acceptance criteria. As with all insurers, there may be circumstances in which we are unable to provide a quote.

If your policy number begins with HBP, your Sainsburys Home Insurance policy is administered by Lloyds Bank Insurance Services Limited, Registered in England and Wales No. 204373, Registered Office: 25 Gresham Street, London EC2V 7HN. Lloyds Bank General Insurance Limited are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
 

Sainsbury’s Pet insurance

Policies take out up to 1 November 2019 and renewed up to 24th February 2020.

Sainsbury’s Pet Insurance is sold, underwritten and administered by Allianz Insurance plc registered in England no. 84638. Registered office: 57 Ladymead, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 1DB. Allianz Insurance plc is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Credit Cards, Loans and Savings

We no longer offer credit card, loans or savings products. Certain Sainsbury’s Bank Credit Card, Loans and Savings accounts moved to NatWest in November 2025. More information can be found on our Customer Support page.

At Sainsbury's Money we aim to please, but we know that sometimes things go wrong. If you have a problem or complaint, please let us know and we'll try our best to sort it out.
