What does rabbit insurance cover?

Should your rabbit suffer an accident, injury or poisoning, our insurance can cover any associated costs at that difficult time. - Illness
Looking after a poorly pet brings stress and costs. We can help take care of the latter with help towards vet bills for treatment. - Physiotherapy
If your pet develops a condition or is recovering from an illness, we can pay up to £750 per year for physio appointments. - Herbal and homeopathic medicine
If your rabbit needs natural treatments for their ailments, we can pay up to £2,000 towards them. - Advertising and reward cover
If your rabbit escapes and goes missing, we can help pay for posters and rewards to help with their safe return. - Emergency boarding or retreat fees (if you’re ill, injured or hospitalised for more than 48 hours)
If you’re poorly and can’t look after your pride and joy, we can help pay for rabbit boarding costs.

What isn’t covered by rabbit insurance?
We do have some exclusions to our rabbit policies, as with all pet insurances. These include:
- Pre-existing conditions, symptoms, illnesses or injuries that your rabbit had before you took out a policy.
- Any illnesses within the first 14 days.
- Any accidents, injuries or poisoning in the first three days.
- Cosmetic dentistry or cleaning, descaling, trimming, burring or rasping your rabbit’s teeth.
